Inline X joins hydrogen cluster
Hydrogen plays an important role in the ongoing energy transition and the hydrogen generation market is growing rapidly. Inline X has joined H2 Cluster, a Norwegian hydrogen cluster working to speed up development and build new hydrogen value chains.
«We are confident that our technology will ensure the highest integrity while reducing cost and risk with regards to PSV maintenance within the hydrogen industry,» says Jan Gregor Høydahl Sørli, CEO of Inline X.
H2 Cluster aims to spearhead sustainable restructuring and value creation and contribute to creating new green jobs nationally and internationally. All the major hydrogen players in Norway are partners of the cluster.
«We already contribute to sustainability related to PSV maintenance in the oil and gas industry by significantly reducing transport, personnel on-site, heavy lifting, and HSE exposure,» Sørli says.
A growing industry with new opportunities
According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), hydrogen is "a versatile energy carrier, which can help to tackle various critical energy challenges."
IEA states that clean hydrogen can help to decarbonize a range of sectors and help to improve energy security and that "global hydrogen demand continues to grow, but faster action is needed to reach Net Zero Emissions target by 2050."
«The hydrogen industry is developing rapidly, and our valve testing technology can provide hydrogen companies with the same advantages we deliver to our customers on oil and gas projects. It is a new and significant market and contributor to the energy transition in which Inline X wants to play a part," Sørli concludes.
